Neil Young is a photographic artist who has a life-long love for farmed animals. In recent years Neil has been drawn into fields, farms and sanctuaries to document the day-to-day lives of the animals that live there resulting in his work being shown in exhibitions across London, including his 2012 solo show “You, like me: intimate portraits of farmed animals.”
Born in northwest London, Neil has lived most of his life in the capital, with a few years in Manchester and Cambridge along the way. Neil has spent most of his career developing and managing services for young lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, and trans (LGB&T) people and has worked for both Mayors of London representing LGB&T Londoners.
Right now, Neil is most happy when being arty with creative freedom, travelling, baking vegan cakes, spending time with his gorgeous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, George, or being a cynical yet optimistic political activist.
